Esther’s Roses

Esther’s Beautiful Roses

A couple of years ago, for Mother’s Day, I gave each of my daughters-in-law a miniature rose bush.  Esther has done such a wonderful job of caring for her rose.  It is growing, surviving the winters, and thriving…producing beautiful blooms.

She planted her rose right outside the back porch, by a porch post.

Because of the good care she gives it, it has produced flush after flush of beautiful flowers over the summer months.

You can see what she feeds the rose bush-bananas and peel, and egg shells.

The rose bush is very happy to share in her breakfast and reward her with such lovely flowers!

God is working in you,

giving you the desire to obey Him

and the power to do what pleases Him.

  1. Beautiful roses! Thanks for the gardening tips. Just planted roses this year and I’m loving the blooms. Hope they survive the winter.

    • Thank you for the comment! I hope your roses survive too. Miniature roses are very hardy and usually survive the winter ok. Esther’s is by the house and probably gets more warmth there! I can’t wait to get moved and start planting again! Planning on planting some roses.

  2. Thank you so much for the rose bush!

    • It is beautiful! I need one myself!

  3. I guess I need Esther to advise me. Mine died 🙁

    • Try again! Miniature roses are very hardy. Your climbing rose is doing good! Banana peels and eggs shell!
