The 2015 School Auction
The New Bethlehem School auction is becoming an annual event, held at the end of every October. The last few years, the auction has been held at the New Bethlehem fire hall, and that location has worked out well. Many look forward to it. It is one of the main fund raisers for our Christian school, and this year netted over $5,000 for the school.
There are many hands involved in all the behind the scenes work. Many people look for and save salable items all year to donate to it.
Tracy Rankin does an outstanding job of soliciting donations from businesses.
Maria Lawrence works at getting the hall rented, and hauling items in.
Davonna Clyde keeps notices up to date. Many more people worked hard to make the auction a success. A big thank you to each one who helped make it work.
Dan Miller did an excellent job of auctioneering for us.
The Junior/Senior class of 2016 uses this time as a fund raiser for their class activities, such as the class trip.
The menu was hot dogs and pulled pork sandwiches.
As always, there is a wonderful array of delicious desserts.
The students and parents work hard to prepare, sell, and serve the food.
Meadow was in charge of the coffee and donut table.

Lexington, struggling to eat her hot dog.
Lauren loves to dip-anything.
Maria and Jessica Bickel tend to the table.
Some of the crowd.
Michael Clyde, Gabriel Clyde and Bud Bowser are the ‘runners’,
and they keep the evening lively.
Miss Bickel is kept busy, hardly looking up, as she records the bid.
More of the crowd.
