A Sunday Song-Breathe on Me, Breath of God

Breathe on Me, Breath of God

*

Breathe on me, breath of God;

Fill me with life anew,

That I may love what Thou dost love,

and do what Thou wouldst do.

*

Breathe on me, breath of God,

Until my heart is pure,

Until with Thee I will one will,

To do and to endure.

*

Breathe on me, breath of God,

Till I am wholly Thine,

Until this earthly part of me

Glows with Thy fire divine.

*

Breathe on me, breath of God:

So shall I never die,

But live with Thee the perfect life

Of Thine eternity.

Words-Edwin Hatch, 1878

Music-Robert Jackson, 1894

*

John 20:22

He breathed on them and said,

‘Receive the Holy Spirit’.

  1. Nice answers in return of this matter with genuine arguments and describing
all on thhe topic of that.

  2. There’s also a lot of bickering between ‘good guys’
that could confuse kids. There’s the usual violence that comes along with super
hero comics and some language. Metaphor: King compares what the Civil
Rights movement will produce if their demands are not met to a rapidly rotating,
    destructive vertical column of air.

  3. Telling my kids often that I love them and having them say it back to me, telling them “I’m sorry” when I’ve failed because I respect them, teaching them
to be kind to others, and sheltering them as long as I can from the things about growing up that will make them cry.
*Avoid people and situations that are likely to trigger anger.
serve further notice that it’s time to build the Temple.
